This being the case, he will likely start 2014 in the minor leagues and provide organizational depth. Though Carson has generally struggled throughout his career, he is a left-handed reliever who has the ability to limit home runs, so he may have an opportunity to establish himself as a specialist in an Angels bullpen that is in need of some new blood.
