Austin Smith News: Traded to Colorado

The Rockies acquired Smith from Atlanta on Wednesday in exchange for right-hander Tyler Kinley, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Smith has split his time between the High- and Double-A levels in 2025, collecting a 4.31 ERA and 34:15 K:BB over 31.1 frames. The 26-year-old reliever has yet to advance past Double-A.
