Declan Cronin Injury: Undergoes Tommy John surgery

Cronin underwent Tommy John surgery Monday, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

Cronin had been on the 7-day injured list at Triple-A Jacksonville since mid-August and was released by the Marlins earlier this month. He'll be a free agent while he rehabs and is unlikely to be ready to pitch in a game until 2027.
