Evan Carter Injury: Begins rehab assignment

Carter (back) served as the designated hitter and went 0-for-2 with two walks for Double-A Frisco on Tuesday.

Carter kicked off what is expected to be a brief rehab stint. Per MLB.com, he's likely to return this weekend, when the Rangers travel to Toronto for a three-game set beginning Friday.
