Geoff Hartlieb News: Cast off 40-man roster

The Tigers designated Hartlieb for assignment Saturday.

After making two appearances with the Tigers and giving up two runs over two innings, Hartlieb will now be dropped from the 40-man roster. Luke Jackson, who signed a one-year deal with Detroit on Saturday, will claim the open spot in the bullpen.
