Jac Caglianone Injury: Cleared to start rehab assignment

Caglianone (hamstring) is scheduled to begin his rehab assignment with Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Caglianone has resided on the 10-day injured list since late July due to a left hamstring strain, but he's been deemed ready for game action after he responded well to resuming baseball activities last week. Before landing on the shelf, the rookie produced a .147/.205/.280 slash line with five home runs, one stolen base, 10 RBI and nine runs over 161 plate appearances through his first 41 big-league games.
