Jalen Beeks Injury: Faces hitters

Beeks (back) threw a 23-pitch live batting practice session Friday, MLB.com reports.

Beeks' live BP session follows two previous bullpen sessions. He's already spent more than 15 days on the injured list can be activated at any time, though he may need to complete a rehab assignment before Arizona reinstates him.
