Jordan Beck News: Exiting starting nine Sunday

Beck is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

He'll head to the bench for the first time since Sept. 2, ending a streak of 10 consecutive starts during which he hit .308 with one home run, three steals, seven RBI and five runs. With Beck taking a seat, the Rockies will have a spot in the outfield available for Yanquiel Fernandez, who will cover right field and bat sixth.
