Brito (hamstring) has resumed running, fielding and hitting since sustaining a significant left hamstring strain in early July, MLB.com reports.

Triple-A Columbus placed Brito on its injured list July 8 due to the hamstring strain, which is expected to carry a recovery timeline of 8-to-12 weeks. Brito still has a chance to return before the end of the season, but 2025 is shaping up to be a lost year for Brito, who previously spent time on the shelf earlier in the campaign due to a thumb injury. He's played in 24 games in total for Columbus, slashing .256/.357/.463 with three home runs and four stolen bases across 99 plate appearances.
