Luis Torrens News: Still idle

Torrens is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against Atlanta.

Torrens will yield to Hayden Senger behind the plate for a third straight game. It's a rather surprising development, considering Torrens was the favorite to take over the starting catcher role while Francisco Alvarez (thumb) is sidelined. Torrens started the first two games sans Alvarez and is slashing .210/.275/.299 in 233 plate appearances this season.
