The Astros outrighted Hernandez to Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday.

Hernandez cleared waivers after being removed from the 40-man roster and will remain in the organization. The right-handed reliever holds a career 7.06 ERA and 26:13 K:BB over 21.2 innings covering parts of three big-league seasons.
