Sandy Leon News: Booted from 40-man roster

Atlanta outrighted Leon to Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday.

Leon will cede his spot on the 26-man and 40-man roster Friday in response to Ronald Acuna's (calf) reinstatement from the 10-day injured list. Leon struck out in his only plate appearance during his stint in the bigs. Leon will have the option to elect free agency or remain within Atlanta's organization.
