Sandy Leon News: Contract selected

Atlanta selected Leon's contract from Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday.

With Sean Murphy (hip) done for the season, Leon will serve as the backup catcher behind Drake Baldwin. Leon went hitless in two plate appearances during a brief stint with Atlanta earlier this season.
