The Marlins selected Martinez's contract from Triple-A Jacksonville on Wednesday.

Martinez has spent the entire 2025 season at Jacksonville, posting a 3.71 ERA and 54:18 K:BB over 43.2 innings. He will likely operate in a middle-relief role.
