Tom Cosgrove News: Remains in organization

The Cubs outrighted Cosgrove to Triple-A Iowa on Wednesday.

He's no longer on the 40-man roster, but Cosgrove will remain in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. The lefty reliever has spent most of 2025 at Iowa, holding a 4.71 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 51:25 K:BB over 42 innings.
