Smith isn't in the starting nine for Saturday's game against Kansas City.

Smith will get at least a partial day off his feet after starting both of Los Angeles' previous two games. Rookie Dalton Rushing is getting a chance to start behind the plate Saturday and is batting ninth for Los Angeles.
