Zack Short News: Remaining with Houston

Short was sent outright to Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday, per MLB's transactions log.

Short was booted from the 40-man roster Friday and will stick in the organization after failing to draw interest while on waivers. He's batting .211 with 12 home runs, 35 RBI, three stolen bases and 37 runs scored through 73 games this season for the Space Cowboys.
