27-Year-Old OutfielderOF
Chicago Cubs AAA
2018 Fantasy Outlook
A waiver claim brought Hannemann to Seattle in September and afforded him his first sip of coffee in the big leagues, but the Cubs grabbed him right back less than two months later. He didn't exactly light the world on fire with the Cubs' Triple-A Iowa affiliate last year, posting a .321 wOBA and 88 wRC+ in 80 games, but clearly the organization values the lefty hitter as a depth piece. Hannemann had a much better year at Triple-A in 2016, hitting 10 homers and stealing 26 bases in just 74 games, with a 16.8 percent strikeout rate. He will likely only get an opportunity if the Cubs' outfield is hit hard by injuries in 2018. Read Past Outlooks
