Gregor Blanco
35-Year-Old OutfielderOF
New York Mets
2019 Fantasy Outlook
After a year away from the organization, Blanco returned to the Giants on a minor-league deal for the 2018 campaign. He even did enough to earn a spot on the Opening Day roster and a role on the strong side of a platoon to start the season. That's about where the positives end for the veteran outfielder. He was designated for assignment in early June after mustering just a .242/.289/.350 slash line over the first two months of the season. He returned to the majors at the end of August, but his struggles only worsened (.477 OPS). Blanco stole just six bases while producing his worst walk and strikeout rates (5.9% and 28.6%, respectively). Now 35 years old, Blanco will get a look with the Mets as a non-roster invitee to spring training. He faces an uphill battle to break camp. Read Past Outlooks
