Godfrey made a handful of starts for the A's when injuries hit the rotation, but spent most of the year at Triple-A Sacramento and fared much better than he did in 2010. The 7.48 K/9IP last season was his highest at any minor league stop since his time at High-A Stockton as a 23-year-old in 2008. Now 27, his best bet to stick with Oakland will be working out of the bullpen as the team's long reliever.
