Rivera is having a solid camp and has shown the ability to hit at every level. He probably opens 2016 at Triple-A Las Vegas but he now has a possible opportunity to earn a role in New York. That would require Rivera to beat out Matt Reynolds and Ty Kelly to back up Wilmer Flores while Asdrubal Cabrera (knee) is sidelined.
