ANALYSIS
Selected in the fourth round out of Cornell in the first-year player draft in June, there is some question as to whether Jones will develop the command necessary to remain a starter as he advances through the Arizona system. In six starts with Hillsboro before the promotion, Jones carried an 18:10 K:BB with a 3.90 ERA over 27.2 innings to begin his professional career. Most likely, he'll spend the rest of his 2014 campaign in the Midwest League.
