Bocock has signed a minor league contract with the Royals.
ANALYSIS
The 28-year-old was functional as organizational infield depth, after spending the past three seasons at the Triple-A level. He offers very little production at the plate, but his glove has proven useful enough in the past for organizations to keep him around.

The Phillies picked up Bocock last offseason to provide middle infield depth in the minors. Bocock spent the majority of the year in the minors but did have two short stints with the Phillies where he accumulated only five at-bats. Bocock does not do much with the bat, but he has managed to hang around due to his solid work with the glove. He shouldn't find himself in the majors this year unless he is needed as an injury fill-in.
