Damien Magnifico

Magnifico's Triple-A numbers as closer don't look like much at first glance, but considering Colorado Springs is one of the toughest ballparks to pitch in and is part of one of the minors' toughest leagues for pitching, Magnifico had a solid season. Most impressively, he surrendered just two home runs all year in a park in which the ball flies wildly. Magnifico has struggled with control throughout his minor league career but has been excellent at keeping the ball in the yard. If he can continue that home run suppression at the major league level, he might carve out a career as a middle reliever. If he shows well in spring training, he'll have a chance to travel north with Milwaukee, but he'll most likely return to Triple-A to start the season.
