Duncan was in over his head when the Yankees had him open the 2006 campaign at Triple-A Columbus. In his defense, Duncan was making the switch from third to first base and playing through back problems for a good portion of the season, all while trying to live up to the expectations of being the organization's top hitting prospect. He did manage to show some pop after a demotion to Double-A Trenton, and at 22, it's much too soon to write him off as a bust. Expect him to get another chance at Triple-A as he looks to re-group in 2007.
