2015 Fantasy Outlook
Fornataro spent most of 2014 pitching for the Cardinals' Triple-A affiliate in Memphis, logging 56 innings and piling up 15 saves with a 2.57 ERA. He did make eight appearances for the Cardinals in relief during the first half and posted a 4.66 ERA. Claimed off waivers by the Nationals in November, Fornataro will look to land a middle relief role in spring training. The righty will be in his age-27 season in 2015 so it's unlikely he'll ever have any fantasy value as he's likely going to be an organizational depth guy, serving as roster filler in the higher levels of the minor leagues with the occasional big league appearance sprinkled in.
