                  Analysis
De La Rosa lost his spot on the Dodgers' 40-man roster earlier in the week after Hector Olivera's signing became official. The 25-year-old lefty struggled in six appearances with Triple-A Oklahoma City this season but turned in a 2.95 ERA in 36.2 innings with Arizona last season, albeit with a reverse platoon split (.233/.320/.302 vs. RHB, .309/.377/.418 vs. LHB).

Past Fantasy Outlooks

    2016
				2015
De La Rosa began the year in the Athletics organization and was optioned to their Triple-A affiliate in Nashville during spring training. He was subsequently DFA'd by the A's, claimed and DFA'd by the Dodgers before finally settling in with the Padres organization. He never cracked the major league roster, and instead spent most of the second half of the season at Double-A San Antonio. He notched seven saves with the Missions underpinned by a strong ERA (1.27) and a 9.2 K/9. The left-hander has worked predominantly as a reliever, but his final appearance in 2015 came as a starter when he worked six scoreless innings while allowing just one hit. Still, De La Rosa hasn't pitched in the majors since 2013 as a member of the Diamondbacks, and it's unclear whether he will be given a shot to make a big league roster in spring training, given his free agent status.
