2015 Fantasy Outlook
Right now, Fulenchek is all projection. After being drafted in the second round out of high school in June's first-year player draft, the right-hander went 0-7 with a 4.78 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 29:22 K:BB over 37.2 innings with the Gulf Coast League Braves. However, he is just 18 years old and features a hard-sinking fastball, a pitch that could tick up from the low-90s as his 6-foot-4, 205-pound frame fills out, as well as a slider and a changeup. He flew under the radar somewhat coming into the draft, having not pitched on the showcase circuit the year before, but if he develops as expected and refines his command, Fulenchek could end up being a key piece in 2017 and beyond.
