Analysis
After being called up from High-A Lake County last week when Cleveland required extra catching depth, Gonzalez didn't get the chance to make his MLB debut before he was sent back to the minors. Cleveland called up Ryan Lavarnway from Triple-A in a corresponding move, and he'll serve as the top understudy to Austin Hedges until Roberto Perez (shoulder) returns from the injured list.
