Jameson Fisher

Fisher has played catcher and first base in the past, but it appears the White Sox will play him primarily in the outfield moving forward. Fortunately, the 22-year-old Fisher can rake, so his bat should play just about anywhere. He parlayed a successful 2016 season at Southeastern Louisiana into becoming a fourth-round draft pick for the ChiSox in 2016. His power numbers from his pro debut leave something to be desired, and he is still learning the outfield, but Fisher is polished at the plate. He draws plenty of walks and could end up as a potential leadoff hitter due to his ability to make contact, his eye at the dish as well as his above-average speed. Fisher should begin the 2017 campaign at Low-A.
