Atlanta recently sent Anglin to the rookie-level Florida Complex League to get him stretched out, and that plan could continue with his new organization, as Detroit assigned him to its rookie squad once the deal was completed. While he was with Atlanta, the lefty split time between the FCL and Single-A Augusta, producing a 4.64 ERA and 56:26 K:BB in 52.1 innings between the two stops.
