2017 Fantasy Outlook
Cedrola was an international free agent signing in 2015 out of Venezuela and has spent the last two seasons at rookie-level ball; a year with the Dominican Summer League and a year in the Gulf Coast League. Somewhat undersized (5-foot-11, 170 pounds) and very skinny, Cedrola has plus speed and some room to grow. He was voted the organization's Latin Program Player of the Year in 2015 when he hit for a .321 average and a team-high .835 OPS with the DSL Red Sox. He also stole 27 bases. All of those numbers fell off at the GCL in 2016, as did his walk and strikeout rates. It's still early in his development, so there's a wide range of possibilities.
