The White Sox have invited Sanburn to spring training, ESPN Chicago reports.
The White Sox acquired Sanburn from the A's in late-August in exchange for Adam Dunn, so this will be the first chance his new organization's pitching brass gets to examine and adjust his mechanics. He should spend time at High-A or Double-A following spring training.

2014 Fantasy Outlook
The A's drafted Sanburn in 2012 out of college, where he was primarily used as a reliever. Due to an impressive pitch arsenal, the A's have begun the process of turning him into a starter, but he missed time to start 2013 after undergoing a minor shoulder surgery. He returned to pitch 26 innings for Low-A Beloit, turning in an impressive 1.38 ERA. The A's really like Sanburn's stuff, as his fastball sits in the mid-90s and he also throws a plus curveball. Sanburn will likely begin 2014 in High-A with a chance to move quickly to Double-A with some strong results, but he could face a significant innings cap as a result of the missed time last season.
