Feliciano agreed to a minor league deal with the Cubs on Wednesday that includes an invite to spring training, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports.
                  Analysis
Feliciano made it back to the majors in 2013 after shoulder surgery held him out of the big leagues in 2011 and 2012, but was unable to get back there last year as he spent 2014 at the Triple-A level in the Cardinals' organization. The 38-year-old struggled there as he posted a 5.57 ERA in 22 appearances, so while he'll get a shot to get back to the majors with the Cubs, he'll probably begin the season back down at Triple-A.

Feliciano was one of the best but most heavily used lefty relievers in baseball for the Mets for a five-year stretch between 2006 and 2010, but injuries kept him out for all of 2011, and career-threatening rotator cuff surgery is expected to sideline him for all of the 2012 campaign.
