2016 Fantasy Outlook
After a midseason release by the Padres, Noel ended up with the Yankees and ultimately made his big league debut as a September callup. The move was simply done to take advantage of the 26-year-old's exceptional speed, as he's never profiled as a particularly good hitter at any level in the minors. His speed, while still his best asset, has been slightly on the decline, as he followed his 2012 90-steal campaign with 59 steals in 2013, 32 in 2014 and just 28 across all levels in 2015. Noel isn't a threat at the plate either, hitting just .181 in 67 minor league games, so it's unlikely that he'll see any major league action in 2016 outside of pinch-running in September.
