2008 Fantasy Outlook
Kline was the Rays' second-round pick in the 2007 draft. After a long college season for Mississippi State, the Rays consciously limited Kline's workload. He had some ugly outings early, but improved late; over his last two starts, Kline allowed just one run and 12 baserunners over 10 innings (seven strikeouts). Kline has an average fastball, curve and slider; however, so far in his career, he's thrown strikes. The Rays will start Kline out at High-A Vero Beach in 2008, he'll get his chance to arrive on the big league scene by 2010.
