How do the Knicks get stuck with these contracts? Rose, 33, has two seasons left at $7 million per. He’ll get whatever minutes are left after Eddy Curry, Zach Randolph and David Lee get their share.

Unlike most of the Knicks, Rose is the type of player Larry Brown will love. He’s not afraid to mix it up under the basket, often defending players much larger than his 6’7”, 245 lb frame, and does all those “little things” that helps team win. Unfortunately, unless floor burn is a category in your fantasy league, Rose won’t have much value.

Rose will continue to play a complimentary role this season. The Spurs went out and used some of their "Jason Kidd" money on Rasho Nesterovic to replace David Robinson in the middle. We expect a similarly average season again for Rose. We love this guy, he's an over-achiever, a battler in the lane, and he has been improving on his numbers every year. Once again this season, he should garner a few more minutes, but he's never going to impact a fantasy squad the way he helps the Spurs.
