Asa Newell News: Sent to G League

Atlanta assigned Newell to the G League's College Park Skyhawks on Wednesday.

The rookie first-round pick has appeared in just four of the Hawks' first four games, logging 31 minutes in total. Newell will practice with the Skyhawks on Wednesday, but it's unclear if he'll stick around in the G League for College Park's season opener Friday against Raptors 905.
