2024 Fantasy Outlook
Podziemski enjoyed a solid rookie year with the Warriors, averaging 9.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game, but more importantly, he started 28 games (out of 74 appearances) and logged a solid 26.6 minutes per game. Things are on the upside trajectory for Podziemski, as the Warriors parted ways with Klay Thompson in the offseason, so the second-year guard is likely to open the season as the starting shooting guard while Buddy Hield comes off the bench. Scoring aside, Podziemski has already proven himself to be one of the best rebounding guards in the NBA, trailing only Luka Doncic, Josh Hart and Josh Giddey in the category last season. The uptick in minutes and more significant role should translate to Podziemski averaging double-digit points for the first time in his career, especially if he's able to maintain the same efficiency levels he showed as a rookie -- he shot 45.4 percent from the field and 38.5 percent from three-point range. Maintaining efficiency while experiencing an uptick in volume will be vital to preserving his fantasy upside. Still, unless Podziemski suffers a massive regression, he's primed to be a solid -- if not better -- fantasy asset in all categories as Stephen Curry's teammate in the Warriors' backcourt. Latest Fantasy Rumors

Kerr not worried about him
Warriors coach Steve Kerr said he's not concerned with how much Podziemski struggled in the postseason against the Timberwolves, Anthony Slater and Marcus Thompson of The Athletic report.
ANALYSIS
"There were times in this series where he was hesitant to shoot," Kerr said Wednesday after their Game 5 loss. "I thought he could have gotten 10 or 11 3s off tonight, and we needed those. I told him that after the game. I said, 'When we get back here next year, you are not gonna turn down a single shot.'" Against Minnesota, Podziemski hit 33.9 percent from the field with 11.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.4 three-pointers. Slater and Thompson note that he's Golden State's most established young player, and it seems unlikely the Warriors will move him elsewhere this offseason.
