Quenton Jackson Injury: Not ready for season opener
Jackson (hamstring) won't be available for Thursday's game against the Thunder, Tony East of Forbes.com reports.
Jackson, who experienced left leg soreness over the summer, suffered a hamstring injury during an Oct. 11 preseason game and has been sidelined since. Head coach Rick Carlisle hasn't provided a firm timetable for Jackson's return, but the fourth-year guard looks to be at risk of missing time beyond Thursday's season opener. With Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) out for the season and with T.J. McConnell (hamstring) and Kam Jones (back) also set to join Jackson on the sideline for the opener, the Pacers could have to turn to RayJ Dennis to serve as the top backup to starting point guard Andrew Nembhard.
