Reece Beekman Injury: Joins Denver on Exhibit 10 deal
Beekman (calf) agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with the Nuggets on Saturday, Bennett Durando of The Denver Post reports.
After going undrafted out of Virginia last June, Beekman linked up with the Warriors on a two-way deal. He was dealt to the Nets in December and finished his first NBA season with averages of 2.6 points, 1.8 assists and 1.1 rebounds across 13.0 minutes per game in 36 appearances (four starts) between Golden State and Brooklyn. The Nets evidently declined to extend a qualifying offer to Beekman that would have allowed the 23-year-old guard to return on a two-way deal for 2025-26, so he'll instead become an unrestricted free agent at the start of the new league year Sunday and will link up with Nuggets on an Exhibit 10 contract. He'll play in the Las Vegas Summer League for Denver and will be given the chance to compete for a two-way slot heading into training camp.
