Hunter agreed to a deal with the Rockets but was waived Saturday, likely paving the way for him to join their G League affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. The guard shined in his final collegiate season at Memphis, averaging 13.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.5 steals while shooting 40.1 percent from three across 32 games.
