Pavlovic signed a one-year deal with Panathinaikos Athens of the Euroleague, Euroleague.net reports.
ANALYSIS
The 31-year-old played 10 seasons in the NBA before returning to Europe last season to play for Partizan. It's unlikely he'll ever return to the NBA, but he could have quite a few more seasons left in the tank overseas.

Pavlovic was acquired this summer as part of a sign-and-trade with Boston, where he appeared in 45 of 66 contests, posting 2.7 points and 1.6 rebounds in 11.7 minutes per game. He may take on a modest role with the Blazers after Elliot Williams’ injury, though his output is unlikely to be fantasy relevant.
Years ago, Pavlovic showed an ability to hit outside shots, but it would take a great number of injuries ahead of him in Boston for him have the opportunity to show those skills again.
He could fight for playing time as there's plenty of opportunity for a swingman who can shoot from the outside to win minutes with the T-Wolves (he shot 41 percent from three-point range last season). Still, he'll likely begin the season in a reserve role.
He's the wild card – Pavlovic has loads of potential. The problem is Pavlovic has not turned the corner towards consistency. An entire training camp with a new contract should help him return to that 2006-07 form where he shot 40 percent from behind the arc. He will have to battle Szczerbiak for those minutes however, but give the edge to Pavlovic to have a potential breakout season.
Improved defense earned Pavlovic the opportunity to showcase his offensive talent in the second half of the 2006-07 season, when he took over the starting shooting guard role after Daniel Gibson went down with a toe sprain and Larry Hughes shifted to the point. Pavlovic's performance in this role (25 games, 12.4 ppg) should earn him increased consideration, but, whether he starts or not, he'll compete for minutes with Gibson, on whom the Cavs are very high. Pavlovic is currently holding out for a contract extension and is not in training camp.
After flashes of potential led to him getting upwards of 25 minutes per game in January and February as the Cavs searched desperately to find the right replacement for Larry Hughes, G/F Pavlovic went back to being relegated to seven to eight minutes following the acquisition of Flip Murray and finished the season with a 4.5 ppg average. His potential won't be enough to buy him more action that that this season if everyone in front of him on the depth chart stays healthy.
While Pavlovic occasionally hits threes, he averaged only 4.5 points a game last season and should see a further reduction in his playing time with the addition of Donyell Marshall.
The Cavaliers were in search of another perimeter scorer and may have found it in Pavlovic, who is expected to come in and contribute off the bench. However, he doesn't offer much, if any, fantasy value. Remember, this is LeBron's team.
Like a lot of the European players, he’s got mad shooting skills, but plays little defense. He’s only 19, and could benefit from a slow integration to the NBA. He’s more of a shooting guard than small forward, but can play both. As of now, the disappointing DeShawn Stevenson is the starter, but he’s not guaranteed anything. If Stevenson falters, Pavlovic could steal some minutes, but it’s likely the club would swing Matt Harpring there.
