ANALYSIS
Paul, undrafted out of Illinois in 2013, got his first taste of NBA action with the Spurs last season. He appeared in 64 games, averaging just over two points in 9.0 minutes per game. It's possible he opts to return to the G League or head back overseas. He's spent time in both scenarios since leaving college.

2016 Fantasy Outlook
The Sixers signed Paul to a partially guaranteed contract in July, giving him the opportunity to compete for a roster spot in training camp following prior career stops in the D-League, Russia and Spain. He agreed to the contract after splitting time in the summer league with the Hornets’ and Sixers’ squads, averaging 11.4 points on 38.9 percent shooting from the field across 11 games. While the Sixers’ backcourt is lacking in high-end talent, the team already has shooting guards Gerald Henderson, Hollis Thompson and Nik Stauskas on guaranteed contracts, making it unlikely that Paul will be able to make the 15-man roster. Assuming he ends up getting cut in camp, Paul could latch on with a D-League squad in anticipation of an eventual call-up to the NBA.
