Jabari Brown

After signing a couple of 10-day contracts with the Lakers late last season, Brown signed a two-year deal in April, and although 2015-16 is unguaranteed, all signs point toward him being kept for this season. He was signed when the Lakers were at their most injury depleted in the backcourt, and as such put up impressive numbers. In his 19 games, including five starts, Brown averaged 11.9 points, 1.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.6 steals, 0.1 blocks, and 1.2 three-pointers in 30 minutes per night. He also shot 41 percent from the field and 75 percent from the line, as well as hitting 37 percent of his shots from beyond the arc. In his three Summer League games in July, alongside D'Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson, Brown averaged 17.7 points and 2.3 three-pointers in 31 minutes. With all of the guards currently in Los Angeles, Brown will find it nigh impossible to get close to the 30 minutes he averaged last season and will need a run of injuries to approach anything resembling fantasy relevance. Still, as we've seen, if he does get run, he can produce some decent numbers.
