Won't play in World Cup
Antetokounmpo (undisclosed) has been ruled out from competing with the Greek national team in the 2023 FIBA World Cup this month, Eurohoops.net reports.
ANALYSIS
The FIBA World Cup rosters allow 12 players per country, and the Hellenic Basketball Federation announced Sunday that Antetokounmpo's withdrawal was due to injury. Antetokounmpo's older brother, Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, will also sit out the FIBA event. Kostas, 25, last played in the NBA during the 2020-21 season but had been signed to a two-way deal with the Bulls for a brief portion of the 2022-23 campaign.

Bulls showing interest
The Bulls are showing interest in signing Antetokounmpo, Christos Tsaltas of SDNA.gr reports.
ANALYSIS
The brother of Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Kostas spent last season playing for ASVEL in the French LNB Pro A and the EuroLeague but has also thrived with the Greek national team. After putting up 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead Greece to a win over Turkey in the title decider of the Acropolis International Basketball Tournament on Aug. 20, the Bulls have contacted the veteran to see if a move might be possible, and the Greek big man is reportedly interested in making an NBA return. Antetokounmpo only has three years of NBA experience, so he'd be eligible for a two-way deal for one more season.
