Goes for 19 points
Dotson had 19 points (7-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two steals across 36 minutes in Friday's overtime loss against Santa Cruz.
ANALYSIS
Dotson has plenty of NBA experience compared to most of his teammates and that has been noticeable, as he's been able to become one of the team's go-to players on offense in most contests. That said, he ended a slump of five straight games with 14 or fewer points in this one and will try to end the season on a strong note.

Latest Fantasy Rumors

May head elsewhere in offseason
The Jazz, Bucks and Warriors are expected to pursue Dotson in free agency if the Knicks decline to extend him a qualifying offer this offseason, Marc Berman of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Even though the Knicks have been in rebuilding mode for all three of Dotson's seasons in the NBA, the team seemingly doesn't view the swingman as part of its long-term plans. As evidence, Dotson's playing time has dropped off from 27.5 minutes per game in 2018-19 to 17.4 in 2019-20, with veterans like Maurice Harkless, Reggie Bullock and Wayne Ellington all playing ahead of him before the NBA suspended its season in mid-March. Other teams around the league are still intrigued by Dotson's "3-and-D" potential, 6-foot-6 frame and high motor, so he could emerge as a bench contributor elsewhere down the road.
