After a draft-day trade that landed him in Phoenix, Bridges appeared in all 82 games as a rookie, starting 56 contests. He turned that opportunity into averages of 8.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.6 steals. His season-high in points came versus the Hawks on Feb. 2, when Bridges poured in 20 points on 7-for-10 shooting (5-7 3Pt). As a rookie, the 23-year-old made 105 threes at a success rate of 33.5 percent. He also had a noticeable impact on the defensive side of the ball, finishing with the eighth-most steals in the NBA (129). Bridges scored in double figures 29 times in 2018-19, and did so in four-straight games spanning March 16-23. He was a steady presence in the lineup, leading Phoenix in minutes played with 2,417. While Bridges finished the year among the team's top-5 scorers, he ultimately saved his most productive moments for the end of the year. Through five games in April, Bridges averaged 12.4 points -- his best scoring month of 2018-19. His Suns missed the playoffs with a record of 19-63.
