Cam Reynolds

Cameron Reynolds, son of Billy and Julia, was born in Pearland, TX in 1995. Reynolds comes from a basketball family. His father held Northwestern State's all-time scoring record for 40 years and was selected in the 1977 Draft by the Seattle Super Sonics. His brother Justin played hoops at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and also was a pro in Macedonia, Japan, China, Portugal and for the NBA G-League's Texas Legends. As a senior at Pearland High School, Reynolds led his team to undefeated record in the district at 14-0 and a 26-8 overall record, and was named the district's Most Valuable Player. He spent the next four years at Tulane, featuring in a school-record 135 games. His 1,370 career points rank 14th in Green Wave history and Reynolds is one of just 10 players to amass over 1,300 points and 600 rebounds. In 2017, he was named the AAC's Most Improved Player with averages of 17.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists. He also shot 42.4 percent from the field, 38.8 percent from three and 79.6 percent from the free-throw line. Reynolds would record nine double-doubles over his collegiate career. During his senior campaign, he set career highs in assists (2.2) and blocks (0.6) per game. He went undrafted in the 2018 Draft.
