The 2019-20 season marked Bowman's rookie campaign. He made his NBA debut Oct. 24 during a game against the Clippers, seeing four minutes and posting one assist. Across his 45 appearances, Bowman averaged 7.4 points, 2.9 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 22.6 minutes. The rookie shot 41.7 percent from the field, 30.8 percent from three and 82.9 percent from the free-throw line. Bowman set single-game career highs of 24 points, 11 assists, eight rebounds, four steals and two blocks. The 6-foot-1 guard's best performance of the campaign occurred Nov. 25 during a game against the Thunder. Bowman posted 24 points (9-17 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five assists, three rebounds, three steals and one block in 39 minutes. Bowman also played 12 games in the G League for the Santa Cruz Warriors. There, the Boston College product averaged 14.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.2 steals in 31.7 minutes. Bowman posted G League career single-game marks of 27 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, four steals and three blocks. The Warriors' final game of the season before the hiatus was Mar. 3 against the Clippers, in which Bowman recorded 11 points (5-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist. Golden State was not one of the 22 teams to participate in the resumed season in the Orlando bubble.
